Let me just extend an exhuberant THANK YOU to for thinking of me when she read this book. I fell in love from the very first sentence. I have only gotten to the 7th chapter and have already found a random quote that I want to throw out at you:
“What’s one person’s diversion may be another’s supreme test. Ans so often we sit beside one another, unknowing.” *p31*
Every time I open the pages of this book I am transported…that’s no lie. I have always been fascinated with the queens of Africa, many times taking on the very likeness of them within myself.
This novel is so well written that it is truly helping me find my eloquence again. I am compelled to read Margaret George’s other works… at least Mary Queen of Scotland and the Isles.
I highly recommend this book and her others to anyone who is into unabashed quality writing.

We have settled into our new apartment pretty comfortably. Somehow my stalker found out I moved, but that’s what they do, isn’t it? I am at least an hour from all my former connections in any direction. I like that. Looking to make local friends, but not quite sure of my surroundings yet.
My great grandmother died last week. She was my last living grandparent. She lived to 101 years old, by far the longest living of them all. Her funeral is Saturday and I can’t get there. The same people who handled my grandmother will be handling my great grandmother…
shocking discovery: great grandmom was married to a pastor named william. my grandfather (who i knew as jim) was really named william. my father in law, his father, my husband, and my son are all named william. my sister’s boyfriend who she hopes to marry is named william. his father and grandfather are named william, too.

r. Planning to have a small quiet Easter egg hunt in the morning and have Jello Egg Jigglers for a treat later in the afternoon. Hubby has to work, so any family gatherings are out unless someone wants come and visit me. I cannot travel as we have a glitch with our car situation.
One of my blog buddies has been in the hospital for a month because she attempted to leave this world. I am praying for her recovery. Her kidneys are not functioning. Please keep her in your prayers, too.
My bro in law just helped me fix my printer. Thank God. Now I can print stuff for the baby to learn from. YAY…did I tell you he is a genious???
Homeschool is officially in till 8th grade. People keep telling me how hard it is and frustrating and I’m thinking it can’t be more frustrating and hard than what I am doing now. Seriously. I am taking donations to my paypal account for anyone who wants to contribute to my son’s homeschooling education. I am saving for his curriculum package that I will be purchasing before next February. The package is over $300 and *if* there is any money over what I need for the package it will be moved into a high yield savings account for the next package which is more than the first one.
