I have recently updated and integrated my child, Little Taz’s blog into his own wordpress. I made everything graphical from scratch there and I would like for you to take a look and tell me what you think. It’s nearly done. Just the tweaking and plugins left to mess with.

Taz’s Clues: EternaLearning Academy

Who is Jesus, really?

and who were his mother and father?
I know that his mother was just like any mother who worried and wondered after her son. I also know that if she could lose her son for 3 days and my son was gone for less than 10 minutes, that we aren’t that different. Mothers across the board have lost track of their children for eons.
I know that his father was one who could handle not being the baby’s daddy. He was strong and sensible after being shown by an act of God that the woman was right and he was wrong…typical male.
There were children after Jesus, but his parents seemed to focus on him most. He was the oldest and had the most responsibility, God’s son or not.
Jesus was smart, precocious, energetic, and free. He didn’t live his life to conform to the norm, even as a boy. I can imagine him as a boy. He could have played tricks on his family…you know harmless ones like bringing in the water and his mom goes to wash in it and it’s actually wine. Maybe commanding trees to wither and replenish for fun as a teen.
Why is it so hard to see him as a real, living be
ing with thoughts and feelings? How come we act as if he didn’t use the outhouse just like everyone else?
He was a rebel, a leader with a cause. He taught in the synagogue at the age of 12. A prodigy. He was strong and had sinewy muscles with dark skin. A master carpenter. He loved hard, he fought hard. Probably had a crush on a girl or two. He was human. He experienced our life so he would know what he was dying to protect. At the end he was scared and begged for God to take his purpose from him. He didn’t really want to have to go through it, but he accepted his destiny if his Father God willed it to be so…
Just like us. We fret over our lives and what we are called to do, and then turn around and say “well Jesus didnt whimper up on that cross”. WHATEVER!!! He whimpered in the garden when he was praying. He prayed so hard he was sweating blood! Have you ever prayed that hard? I haven’t.
Jesus didn’t even get to do his ultimate works until he was 30 and he only had 3 years to do it in! We complain if we don’t know our purpose by the time we hit 18. We get angry if things don’t work in our favor so we can be where we want to be and announce *I have arrived!*
Jesus didn’t get to say anything about arriving til he was DEAD!!! That’s when he could say:
IT IS FINISHED.
So what would Jesus do?
If you really know him, then you can probably answer that question. Make sure you really know him before you make that judgment.
