Epilepsy…close to my heart

I saw this website about epilepsy in children and thought immediately of my sister. She *which one, I will not tell* has epilepsy. She has been on meds for it for a few years now. Before these meds, she would black out, pass out, and not remember anything that had happened. It was scary to know what she was going through. It’s good to know that there are a plethora of treatments, drug and alternative and even diet therapy, that are available to her so that she can live a more normal life. Her seizures have responded well to the meds, although I cannot remember which she is on right now. I am looking into getting the book featured on the site for my mother and I both to read and get more information on how this problem affects others and how it can be helped with practical therapies.
