Looks like I found something to blog about
My husband and I tried to get a mortgage for a house over a year ago. We went through two different companies in South Jersey. The first company took about $500 and after assuring us we were clear for a regular loan, called to say we only qualified for an 85/15 loan. It means that the mortgage company was only going to pay 85% of the loan amount and our down payment had to be the other 15%. We were looking at a house that was only $70K, but that is still an outrageous amount of money for a down payment. The other company LIED to get us a loan *we found out later*, ruined our credit, took more money, and left us battered from the experience. We learned our lesson. If we decide to try and get another loan, after we fix our credit, we are going through a more reputable company.
If you are looking into loans and things, make sure you check all over for information. There are many sites that offer information on getting a home loan mortgage. This particular one has plenty of info to get you started, an
d they use a SecureTrust system to make sure you don’t get spam and solicitation calls. They have forums, too, just in case you want more insider info.

Who else here LOVES Thomas Kinkade’s work? I surely do…I wish I could have him paint me a huge wall sized mural. I can oggle his works as long as I want. I would LOVE to adorn my house with Thomas Kinkade Christmas Gifts, Kinkade art collectibles, Music boxes and whatnot. His lighthouses are so inspiring. The winter scenes bring you into another realm! I really really love this Christmas wreath I fell in love from the moment I laid eyes on it… I keep going back to the site just to stare at it LOL. They have a bunch of other Thomas Kinkade Collectibles available, too. I have always been such a fan of his. Our local bible book store devoted a whole section to Kinkade’s artwork and anything that had his designs. I miss being able to go there and just languish the in the beauty there.

If any of you know about me, you probably know that I am not into numerology, spells, magic, and whatnot. I cannot stand Harry Potter and the many books and movies the author has been able to render since beginning this “fantasy”. I also am not fond of the fact that you can get spells free of charge. It totally bugs me out. I have been known to peek at a horoscope or two from time to time for fun, but I am not a follower of all things occult. I didn’t say I don’t believe in them, because I know that they have power. I know that they are not a figment of imagination, but a dangerous tool.
I used to practice Wicca as a teenager, and let me tell you: it’s no joke. You open the doors to some pretty nasty things when you start on this path. I am not trying to preach the gospel here, I am just letting you know. If you decide to start dabbling in the black arts, brace yourself for whatever may come. It might seem fun and easy now, but these things have a way of turning on you. White magic, black magic, it’s all magic. Witches and warlocks, wizards and cauldron
s all seem like child’s play to many of us… but there are many others of us that know these things are not mere toys. They aren’t mere characters to be used in children’s stories.
Just be careful with anything you choose to do when it comes to the spirit realm…be wise.
