Whether in the United Kingdom or the United States, you may find the information on this website of value to you. I, myself, used to have issue with credit cards and debt, but am taking the steps necessary to get those things of our credit.
If you are of the mind to buy a home, you should always look up information about loans and home insurance before you commit. I think I told you all about the tragedy we experienced trying to find a reputable loan officer.
Then of course there is the issue of establishing credit. I would rather use bank accounts to accomplish that goal. Credit cards are just the black hole of money for many people.
Some of my relatives found themselves in a bind not that long ago and were looking into remortgages.
I hope you do go check the site. Their financial information is updated daily. They also give commentary and opinions on events in the financial marketplace as they relate to us consumers.
Hope you find some good info that will help you all see a brighter financial future.

Here is my first Thursday Thirteen. I did not know that there was no set topic every week and that I would have to actually *gasp* think of one myself. So to tie into my baby’s blog, here are thirteen reasons why we chose to homeschool our son:
- He is a pretty energetic child. This way he can be bouncing off the walls while learning.
- He can work at his own pace, which is usually lightning fast, and not be reprimanded for it.
- He loves to learn through play and can do this uninhibited by time constraints.
- The school system in our part of the world is not the best. Public, private, or Christian schools will not give him the environment he needs to thrive.
- I can choose whatever books he would best benefit from using without censorship.
- It is actually cheaper overall to have him home than to send him to school.
- He enjoys the freedom to socialize and network with any number of people of all ages.
- Grades are unimportant so he does not wrap his self worth into whether or not he got an A.
- He has the chance to grow and develop without embarrassment.
- He can ask as many questions as he wants without raising his hand.
- Learning stops only when he stops. He does not have to change subjects because a bell rang.
- He can actually fully comprehend a subject or concept without being interrupted.
- He can use all the resources available *for example: tv, video games, workbooks, books, nature* at all times and learn any number of things. His imagination is never limited to what a text book says.
There you have it. It was hard to bullet point those things, because it will never show the true passion that I have for homeschooling. I could not put into words the joy of having him learn at home. He is far beyond his grade level in most things and I know it is because we have taken the time to allow him to learn uninhibited.
Now I might just go off on a tangent about that and try to explain on his blog. HAHA.

I have taken a few pictures of what my house is beginning to look like.
I still have to put the balls and other ornaments on the tree.
Right now there are 3 that you cannot see in the picture. Our tree will be fully white and gold when we get it all finished.
I still have to get some nice flowers, preferably poinsettias, for this table set up.

Here are the front table that you see when you first step in my home and the small fridge in the corner of my living room:
I will be updating the look of my tree and anything else if I change it.. In the mean time, join in the fun on
Wystful’s blog.

Yay for me. I still have to buy presents for a few people, but mostly our shopping is done. I hate when people want you to buy expensive gifts for their child when they know you have like 30 people to buy for every year. Someone I know wants us to get them boots for $160. Wanna know my answer to that?

Was the day my child was born. Yes, I know many mothers say that…but you may not understand how momentous this event is for a woman. Everything changes in an instant. What once was just an idea is now a real, living, breathing, needing creature.

I got my beautiful coffee today. I ordered three kinds of drinks:
So those are the ones I got. If you go to BocaJava and decide to buy, please let them know I sent you with my email addy kingzjewel (at) yahoo (dot) com. I have been buying their coffees and hot drinks for a while now. I am a silver member and get ten percent off all my purchases. Dingbat me *my mother hates when I call myself that* forgot to double check the what I ordered and I ended up with whole bean caramel kiss. It’s okay, though, because I found out that my mini-chopper will do a fine job of grinding the beans up. No more caring which one I get! YAY!
As for my son… Read the rest of this entry »
