She asked the questions:
Have you ever thought about what you would do with your days if you didn’t have to work? …
If you had more than enough money to life on and do anything you wanted to do in life what would you do? Everyone has a selfish side – would you treat the selfish you, or would you try to bring out the best in yourself by being a wonderful person with your deeds?
My answer is this:
Seeing as how I don’t have to work because my husband works for us, I guess I don’t qualify for this question…
BUT If I had more than enough money, husby and I would do the *bad* thing and buy a house on a hill FAAAR away, only shuttling people in to see us on our own whims. The house would be guarded with a large electric fence, a moat with crocodiles, and a HUGE lock. Husby would have all the cars and cycles he wants, I would have a plethora of trucks and hot rods. Our son would be in the pillowy lap of luxury in a padded room where he could run around the walls all day and not get
hurt. Our phone numbers would be encrypted so no one would know where we are calling from and therefore never be able to call back. Charities would be happy to have us at their $10k a plate dinners, too. We would pursue our music careers with all our attention and our son would have every door open to him.
Nice Suni would stick around, pay all the family’s residual debts and keep it simple so as not to spoil the child. Husby would work anyway, because he wants to have a construction company all his own, and I would have lots of friends who I would spend ample amounts of time with and over-socialize my son and I. We would still give to charity a lot.
