small things, big help Under my sink I found my 2 large burner covers that came with my 2 sets of burner covers. I have 3 small burners and one large, so I had reserved the other 2 large burner covers for whatever. WELL they are getting used now because I burned the other 2 burner covers. I am so happy that my stove doesn’t have to look ugly anymore. Thank God for my thinking ahead at that moment and not discarding the covers I didn’t need when I got them. It’s the little things in life, I tell you.

I have to go shopping for thanksgiving either tomorrow or Tuesday. I really really want to get the shopping over and done so that I can just focus on my menu and the recipes I will be using. I still have to contact my other two sisters in law to tell them what I expect them to bring. I have to do something about mashed potatoes…I may just do those myself and the turkey AND gravy, and leave everything else to the people who will be here. I don’t want to add anything to the oven really, and one dish in and one dish on is a good thing.
