I really need to work on my titles…
Anyway, I went shopping at ShopRite today. That was lots of fun *rolls eyes*. It was really hard for me to concentrate, even though I was alone. It seemed like everyone’s conversations were piercing my brain. I got everything I needed, or so I thought… Turns out, we will not be getting a turkey from my husband’s job this year. This means that I have to go back to the store and find the cheapest turkey available. I could have gotten one for 49 cents a pound but Husby just found out about the change…the week after the sale *doh*. I hope another good sale comes up next week because otherwise I think all my careful preparation for this turkey will be toast.
I bought nutmeg, egg nog, cool whip *french vanilla and extra creamy*, a potato masher, 2 extra large spoons, oven roaster bags for the turkey, and the pan with handles. Everything was pretty much on sale. I only spent about $49.95 on that stuff and everything else I got for our home today. Total spent in groceries and accessories for the house: about $140. Now I have to buy a turkey! Thank God I didn’t bust my $200 limit.
So anyway, I am sitting at the computer desk at the library, and this satan kid next to me smells really really bad. I have the window moved below the screen (if that makes snese) so no one can see what I am writing. It’s lunch time! But all my friends are in NYC, or pretending to have lives, and so they left me here all alone. I have french next. Yay. J’adore la grammaire.
