Princess Juicy might come to my house!!!

I was talking to my buddy last night on the IM and she said she will see whether or not she and her new Hubby can come visit us this week! I call her Princess Juicy because her main staple for fashion is Juicy Couture. She was expounding on her knowledge of Juicy Couture sweats one day while we were chatting. I was saying how much I HATE those pants with the word ‘juicy’ splashed all across the behind. That’s when I found out a shocking truth: She was the princess of Juicy Couture! She can’t live without it LMBO! So that’s who is coming to my house in the New Year *I hope*. Princess Juicy, I extend my red carpet to you :D

The great unwashed masses

of celebrities, that is. Have you ever looked at the fun Celebrity pictures that show them without makeup on, or in weird situations? It’s terrible how much pleasure people can find in those things. And how about all the gossip? I am guilty of reading Oh No They Didn’t on Livejournal from time to time and listening to those Celeb shows on television. It’s all in fun. Sometimes I feel so bad for them, though. I cannot imagine having my life scrutinized at every turn…especially while trying to raise a child! I think I would go insane and end up breaking a few cameras. Then the things that some people do to provoke a reaction out of a Celeb just so they can get a fight or something outrageous on camera is appalling.

I guess that’s why God made me only a local Celebrity :P

Students of Skin Care and Massage Therapy, Must See

I have a friend named Deb who is a fantastic writer. She wrote a book about skin care specifically for students and one for anyone who is thinking about going into Massage Therapy. These books are easy to understand and very straight-forward. Deb, herself, was looking for a book that would feed her need to understand the ins and outs of both subjects. The books cover a wide range of issues from simple questions one may have to business and marketing after school.

If you are a student of skin care or thinking of going into massage therapy, you should definitely take a look at this book. She wrote from her own extensive knowledge on these subjects to help out students just like you. It is available through Amazon.com. Just click the link in my sidebar to find the Massage Q and A book. You won’t find a better guide out there than these two fabulous books.

Check out all her books on Lulu.com.

ps this is an unsponsored, unsolicited book review for my friend…it’s a surprise. check out her books and let her know what you think!

Good things for good people

You already know that I have been looking around for help for Husby’s nose. Well, in my travels I have seen some pretty interesting articles. I love to see that cosmetic surgery is helping more than the vain. As a matter of fact, I am always looking for news about surgeons that help people who are hurting and in need. On http://www.williamsfacialsurgery.com in the news section, I found that this office has been helping battered women with nose reconstruction. They have also helped people with embarrassing problems like overactive sweat glands. I think it’s great that they are doing things that change people’s lives for the better. It isn’t rare to see doctors that have the ability and the means give back to their communities.

I wish I could visit California

My friend Koko lives there. She and I have been friends for a few years now, but only through the Internet. When I first met her, she lived in Florida. If ever I had a chance, I would fly out to meet her in a heart beat. Looks like the only way I might get there is if I become rich on some real estate endeavors and invest in San Diego Real Estate, move out there to check out the places, and visit her in the process. She lives right in San Diego so maybe she could even give me some tips on the best places to look…

Ah, but real estate is my husband’s dream. He is into buying, fixing, and reselling homes. I know he would love to expand a business that far across the United States. Alas, it’s but a dream right now.

There are more things in Cali that I would love to see, too. Like Legoland *my son would plotz*, Sea World, and Disney. I have never been to Disney, but my mother went and had a blast. It would be cool to see Vegas, too. I have friends that live there and I could probably visit them for a few days.

So many places, so little money *sigh*. If I become a blog-ul *that’s a blogging mogul*, then maybe…

Skeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

The more I run around the Internet to various communities, the more people I find that I just instantly adore. You can get a feel for people by the way they write and carry themselves on the Internet. Skeet is no exception. I was surprised that she felt moved to write about me on her blog, so I just HAD to write about her on mine. Not only that, she supports a charity that deserves recognition. Want to know which one? You have to go see for yourself. Of course, I wouldn’t want to get on her nerves by holding her name out long and loud, but it’s all in love :D

SO here’s to you, Skeet! To hopes of a long lasting, close friendship :)

More research on the nose front

Remember yesterday I was telling you about my Husby and his nose? Well I decided to do some more research on the subject of rhinoplasty revision. I nearly lost my salad when I saw the graphic pictures of what they do to you to make your nose better! I think my retinas are scarred for life now. Seriously, I am no doctor and never will be…those pictures are just a glimpse as to why. People just talking about different medical issues gives me the heebie-jeebies. It’s all I can do not go off and wretch!! Does anyone else have an aversion to all things medically gruesome like me? YECH.
