He is doing much better. He is eating again, got his plumpness back, and they expect he will be in the hospital for another day or so. The infection is leaving his body!! My cousin is switching physicians because they have been seeing the same doctor since he was 2 weeks old and that doc never caught anything wrong. The baby is suspected to have been sick for nearly the entire time since he was born!
Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.

I am thinking about starting a daily chat with my son about other cultures and their customs. He is really interested in China because of their fighting styles, but I want to expand his interests.
What made me think of it? Well, I was reading my friend’s blog and she was talking about multi-cultural day at her school, then the Wiggles were on TV doing a multi-cultural show, and then I found a Russian news blo. They talk about some important aspects of Russian life like business, nightlife, sports, and politics. I learned something new, so I know he will, too. Like who would have thought for the equivalent of over $100 they are eating 12 ounce steaks as a delicacy?

In the spring I have two trips that need to be planned. One is to Texas and the other is to Puerto Rico. Now, I believe in being fully prepared before I go anywhere, especially somewhere far away. I look up all the information that I need to know ahead of time, and in doing so I usually fell pretty prepared. I also like to see if there is anything around where I am going that I can visit so that I can get a well rounded view of the destination. It is a great chance to find sites that wouldn’t normally be seen on a trip such as visiting friends. My son is going with us for one of the trips, so I definitely want to take advantage of the learning aspect, too. I am reading the 50 travel sites I may never have heard of right now. It’s about sites like those that I seek. Hopefully I can find some things on to see on the way to our actual destinations. I am getting more excited as the time passes!! Help me find some neat things to visit.

I don’t think that I mentioned where I am from before…I am a New Jerseyian. Yes born and raised! I was thinking about starting a Carnival of NJ blogs on this site, but I am not sure yet. Either way, I will still let you know about any blogs that I find in the mean time.
One such blog is my friend Deb’s Surviving NJ blog. She is a mother like me just trying to make a difference in the lives of those around her. I was laughing at her blog entry about Spanish speaking in New Jersey. It’s funny, because I married a Spanish speaker and we are teaching our son Spanish. It is kind of weird to be in a country where the language is shifting. Poor Deb notices this one day…well you are going to have to read the post to find out why!
She is going in my list of Gals I Know and you can subscribe to her RSS feed if you want. If you don’t know about RSS let me know and I will help you out ;D

I just found out that he is resting. They have ruled out a blockage in his bowel, but he DOES have a nasty infection. They don’t know what the infection is, but he is on antibiotics… his mother is staying with him tonight. I will probably call tomorrow as it has been a LOOOONG evening for us all. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts!
