I was reading about men going in for plastic surgery. I never thought that a guy would go and get a Naples face lift or any face lift for that matter. I just never thought of it as a procedure that a man would need. I guess they are just as vain as many women. It’s funny how many things that happen in this world all the time that we believe are gender specific.

Take a look around the world and you will find many different things that we believe to be gender specific actually change sides…right down to breastfeeding! I know that I never even thought of a man having an actual breast until it became more publicized that men were getting breast cancer.

In Europe, men carry valises that look like women’s purses. In many cultures, the roles are reversed where the women do all the work and the men nurture the children. There is a lot of knowledge to be gained through the study of reversed gender roles and such. It makes you see the truth behind what makes men and women tick.

I am trying to get a few blogging jobs. Some of them look really promising and I would be blogging on their blogs not mine. I think that’s a better idea for some of those opportunities. I don’t want to clog up my blogs with too many paid posts as I just want my personal blogs to flow naturally as my mind does. I love blogging, though. It’s pretty neat to be able to type up my thoughts, press a button, and away we go. I have always been fascinated by the dynamics of blogging. I love to blog my life. I wish I could have a hard copy of every blog I own on me at all times…but I am sure that technology will come soon since blogging has become such a boon.

I appreciate everyone who comes here to read what I write, too. I love my friends. I have made so many through blogging and being on forums around the internet. I love each and every one of you. It’s funny how an electronic device can be the key to unlock a whole world of friends and family that you probably would not have had otherwise.

I am not having a baby… thank God. I didn’t want to start the New Year preggers.

Next thing on the list? My son’s birthday party. GAH. I wanted to have it themed with dinosaurs this year. I really didn’t want to have the party here because of all the work and annoyance. But I was searching around the Net some more and found a few places that do themed kids birthday parties. They have the perfect one for my son. Really, I was shocked to see how detailed a Dino-party can get. I was thinking to have a pinata and some food. They have a whole two hour experience for the children. The only problem would be the drive to Manahawkin. I am contacting them for price information to see just how much it would be. I might just be able to talk my husband out of having the party here after all… I will keep you posted just in case you are interested for your own parties. They do parties for children from 3 to 10 years old and they even send out the invitations for you. I love the idea. I just sent the form for contact and found out that they might even come to your home to do the party. Oh boy, this just gets better and better… especially since they say clean up is on them :P

I kept forgetting to tell you about it during the holiday but just take a look at How Google Earth Killed Santa. Friggin retarded. What do they think, kids are dumb and won’t figure it out? Such a shame. The least they could have done was make the pictures look authentic and not cartoonish. That’s just wrong…

I am glad my kid doesn’t believe in Santa!

You all have probably seen my affiliate links on this blog for Amazon, PayPerPost and Associated Content. I just got on board with another startup company that pays you to post your honest opinions about different things on your blog.

This one is easy enough to use. I applied tonight and got accepted tonight. I was really shocked by the turn around for that. I log in, and already have three opportunities staring at me. This one is called LoudLaunch. It differs slightly from some other platforms. I can choose my own link text, there is always a neutral tone so I can say exactly what is on my mind, and there are more press releases/news articles to write about.

Two key points that are highly stressed about LoudLaunch are :

  • This network allows bloggers to be paid for helping our advertisers get the word out about their press releases and news.
  • Advertisers can create campaigns starting at $50, which is great for low or high budgets.

I think this will be a good fit for this and my other blogs. If you want to join up, use bulletz as your referrer :D

LoudLaunch – Compensating bloggers for their unbiased opinions, reviews, and analysis. View the LoudLaunch campaign release this post was based on.
