My son is deathly allergic to the protein in milk called casein. If he is exposed to milk or milk products enough his allergy could escalate into anaphylactic shock…like people get with peanuts. Unlike lactose intolerance, this is something you cannot grow out of and it is potentially deadly.

I had suspected was the case since before my son was weaned and it was only compounded when I tried to give him regular milk and he ended up with all kinds of issues from 2 bottles of milk. I was told by unknowing family members that I needed to keep giving him the milk so he would get used to it and the allergy would pass. Little did they know that I already knew what the next step was going to be: Soy Milk.

I am so tired. I am so annoyed. If it wasn’t attached, my head would roll out the window. I have such a headache. My son has been subversive ALL DAY LONG meaning from the moment before I woke up until this very moment as he sits in time out for the 4th time today.

I have been a stay at home mother for over four years now, if I include pregnancy, and I have been looking into many ways to make some money online. The way I found many of the places that I write for on the Internet was just through researching for recreational sites. I had become a member of a large number of forums before I ever thought to make money online. I have been blogging since at least 2004. I started because a friend of mine invited me to join up since all my buddies from high school were there.

One day I was introduced to Blogitive, and from there my love for blogging ads just blossomed. Blogging itself is not just about throwing a post up on the Internet. It’s much deeper than that. I see this as a medium to hone my writing skills while chronicling my life, loves, joys, sorrows, and interests. Sure, blogging for profit is a bonus, but it’s not everything. Whether or not I ever began writing for profit, I would still have a blog that I update on a daily basis or even more often than that. I love writing about my son’s journey through learning and the tech news that is out daily. I love sharing information on my struggles through depression and bipolar disorder. I hope that one day my blog entries will be seen as a helpful medium that has touched people’s lives in a deeper way than just being some page somewhere on the Internet.

I could never really envelop my passion for writing into words. I have just begun writing at least once a week for a writer’s guild on Vox. I have a biography that I am trying to write and many poems in my mind’s eye. It is hard to do but it’s the work I love. I am a writer. That is me. The quality of my work is more important than the quantity of posts. If I only wrote once a month I would want to know that it was my best effort…that people would want to read it and love every word.
