I received my PayPerPost swag today for entering a picture for the Great Wall of Postie. It’s a great picture. Anywho, I got a T-shirt that says “I will pay you to do it”, a 13 inch pen, 2 calling cards worth $5 from Pingo, lots of sticky confetti *which was part of the packaging…grrr*, mints, and a large foam finger.
I read a great post about realistic expectations advertisers should take into consideration when asking for a post. The only other thing I would suggest is always ask for an open tone. Even if someone blogs something not so nice about your wares, at least you know how to make your products better and have them retested. Any publicity is good publicity. Work up a relationship with the bloggers. See if you can get more answers about your products. There is never harm in getting honest opinions. It can only help you out in the long run.

Last night, Coby knew he heard my husband’s car pull up. He knew it was about time for him to come home. I told him that it couldn’t be “daddy” since it wasn’t quite time. Coby wouldn’t hear it. He pranced around in front of the door whining and waiting for it to open. I told him “Fine, I am going to look through the window and check”…so I went to the window, parted the blinds and checked out the view. I told him “Daddy is not home yet!”. He couldn’t believe it. He gave me a look, planted his paws squarely on my side table, used his nose to part the blinds, and see for himself! If my camera weren’t so slow I would have a picture of it.

Something sticky to talk about today. Someone was talking about a certain video that stuck in her mind and brought it to the table for debate. Now, there is now way in hell one will ever get their point across through a computer, unless they can write scads of screens full of their full intent. I tried to fully convey what I thought *well, as much as possible* and it came out to a whole other realm which was NOT what I intended to say AT ALL. It was taken totally wrong and I had to re-explain myself. I know that it won’t be good enough. It will look like I amended my thinking, which I have not. I could never say all the reasons why and the intentions and what will actually happen when I teach my son about the racial issues that face us in the world in which we now live.

I had written a poem but wordpress update ate it so i dont understand whats going on with this dumb thing. I was all done and here I had a small poem about pieces of you. I can’t even remember how it went. I went to save it and it gave me this ridiculous “Are you sure you want to edit “” ” error…. If I say yes all hope is lost, if I say no all hope is lost. TOTALLY annoying. so Pieces of you is changing.

There now this better save! I was also going to talk about how I am not into Digital Photo Printing as much as I would like to be. I need a new printer for that. Mine is good but there are better
