I keep forgetting to answer these because I saw questions 5 and 6 and just decided not to even try. Here are my answers for the blog fodder questions from 7 thru 9.
Which is more important, intelligence or common sense?
Lack of common sense will get you killed.
How does one handle work, home and family (or a combination thereof) without having a nervous breakdown?
Prayer, and lots of it.
Name a sensory input(s) which trigger a mood change be it uplifting, depressing, poignancy or remind you of a past event or period in time. Examples - the smell of an aftershave or perfume, a song, a baby crying, the sound of a vegas slot machine, the feel of clean sheets, the taste of a childhood drink.
The smell of chlorine reminds of the day I nearly drowned. The smell of Oil of Olay face creams make me think of my grandmother. The sound of blues music reminds me of the times when my father was playing with his band at the Waterfront when I was a child. The sight of someone pregnant reminds me of all the agony I went through in labor with my son.
I guess that’s it for the Blog Fodder questions…if I go any deeper with that last one I will end up having flashbacks.
