I still can’t believe he is meant to be inside. He LOVES being outside, especially in the cold. It reminds me of my former pet Wolfie. He would lay outside his house while it snowed and let the snow cover him from head to toe, then he would get up, shake it off, and do it all over again. Coby romps in the snow and ice like he was born for it. He whines to stay outside to play. I don’t think he was meant to be inside for any length of time except maybe at night for when he gets lonely.
We were running around like crazies this afternoon in the snow. He had a ball. He wants to do it again, but everything is completely iced over now and too dangerous. He already went for his last bathroom break and is settling in for the night.
He is also a rather hungry rascal. Two meals a day isn’t cutting it, but I give him a snack later in the day to try and appease his appetite instead of giving him a full meal. I don’t want him to get all fat and lazy on me.

My hubby came home with a mysterious bag in his hand.
Husby: Did you leave this bag in the car?
Me (clueless): Oh did I? It must be that one I have been looking for.
*does other things in the house*
Husby: Why don’t you go see what’s in that bag and tell me if it’s your stuff.
Me: Okay *opens bag* THANK YOU BAAYBEEEE!!!
I got a brand new cup!! *I collect them. The one I got last year was very expensive and I dropped it by accident and broke it
* I also got Reese’s Cups. The card that came with it was so sweet I nearly choked up. He also has really good taste. I got a new blue and white Queen sized sheet set for our bed. I had just said how I wanted to pretty up our bed a little. He really does love me to bits and pieces!!!
In other news, the cable was out twice today. The last time was RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF AMERICAN IDOL!!! XO UGH!!! SO Husby is playing video games while I surf around the ‘net and blog a bit.

My sister and I were looking at some pretty funny stuff on the computer at my mom’s house. The names they give to drink recipes are unbelievable. How can you name something after a sexual act? It just boggles my mind. How embarrassing to actually order these things!! Anyway, I wanted to be creative today so I thought I would do something of a poem that has to do with liqueur. Silly, yes. I know. It’s in honor of new-found Daucourt Martin’s Drink Pink Celebration with lots of pink drink recipes.
Darling, I would never
Ring your lips with wine and cheese.
I would never leave you wanting
Never leave you ill at ease.
Know that ever will I touch your lips
Put caresses on your hips
Ink my way right down your veins,
Nightly linger betwixt your flames
Knowing that I ignite those things
with my drunken rhyming melody.
Think about that as a liqueur and you will see where I was going with it.

I guess I will start having a theme name for Wordless Wednesday…it seems to fit into what’s going on in my life. SO here is yet another wonderful picture that will express something about today for all to see:

When I get ready to go out to places like the club or whatever, I tend to want to look halfway decent. The lighting in here SUCKS so I find myself trying to catch the light at the right angle so I can see what I’m doing. You can imagine the contortions I go through just to shape my eyebrows! The other problem is not having a good mirror. Without both of these key components, I go out sometimes having to look like who-would-have-thunk-it. I have tried different types of Makeup Mirrors and can never find the kind I like. I want one that has an arm, is lighted, and you can plug it into a socket. THAT would be the ideal kind. I just found one that I do like, but it’s a pretty penny. Maybe one day someone will spoil me so that I don’t have to leave the house looking like Bushwick O’Malley.

I got an email from the ASPCA today. They have free ASPCA virtual e-cards available through Care2. These cards are completely free to send and will help bring more awareness about the ASPCA and their function.
You can send a donation to the ASPCA by giving an honor gift. You get to send an e-card there after you give your donation.

Yes, you read it right. Politics will never be the same. Now anyone can join in the debate. If you love to jump on your soapbox and talk about the hard hitting issues, this is the site for you. You can now rebut politicians speeches point by point through their new cutting edge interface. You can also vote for your favorite speeches to tear apart or post a speech made by an official yourself. It’s a great way to let off some steam, get your voice heard, and share your ideas with others.
The favorite right now is Bush’s State of the Union Address, which has plenty of rebuttals to go around. There are some wickedly valid points made by commenters about the different issues Bush addressed in the speech. You can tell the tone of the rebuttals by the categories the commenter chose. Some are made with humor, other with rhetoric and others with logic. Go on over and join in the fun. I am reading through Bush’s speech and rebuttals right now. It is a riot to see what others have to say. Membership is free, too.

My friend Marcus tagged me to talk about 3 things that I am thankful for, so I will do this now. Thanks Marcus LOL
NUMBER ONE
I am thankful for my health. Without it, I couldn’t take care of my son, husband, and dog like I do. I also wouldn’t be able to sit here for hours and make mula so I can spend it on my favorite people *including myself*.
NUMBER TWO
I am thankful for my friends. If I didn’t have you all, I would have gone insane long ago. That is not an understatement.
NUMBER THREE
I am thankful for my home. It has been a long time coming. I really am glad that we get to have an apartment all to ourselves far from distraction and complications. We have had a better time here than anywhere since we have been married. We are finally getting back to having fun together and it’s all because we have this lovely home.
I thank God for everything, but in everything I give thanks.
