How do you keep your kids safe on the ‘net?

Right now, it’s easy for me. I monitor what sites he goes to on my computer. I sit right with him and help him stay on track. He is only going to be 4, so of course it’s easy. My mind always flashes forward a few more years when it might not be so easy to keep track of his whereabouts on the web. Programs like Snoopstick – Monitor Kids’ Online Activity when you can’t be over their shoulder at every moment. This particular one is different than most that I have seen. It’s on a flash drive that you plug in, install the components to your computer *or whatever computer you want monitored*, then unplug and keep the stick for later use. At under $60 it’s a steal especially when the person being monitored will have no indication of being watched. Teenagers are the worst about this stuff * I know, my 2 sisters are much younger than I*, so I am glad to be able to find help for myself and others who are going to need it in the form of safety on the web.
