Wow. It’s really hard to believe that my baby is now a little man. Four whole years old!
His birthday party began with me, my mom, my cousin’s 2 boys, and my sister all trying to finish up whatever was left when they got here which wasn’t much. I had begun decorating at 10 for the party at 2. The next to arrive were my Sister in law and her 3 children *with one on the way*. Then my other sister and her boyfriend. Next my mom & dad in law and my own father. Finally, my other sis & bro in law and their 2 children arrived.
We had a gorgeous cake made by my mother special order for my son who cannot have milk or red dye. She was creative enough to find a way to do the Superman theme without using any red dye at all. She also found Superman Valentines and used the tattoos and sayings as favors and to put around the cake. Take a look:

The party was ordered well. Everything was pretty much done by 4:20pm. My target had been 4. We had pizza, wings, and chicken fingers. There were chips and soda. We ended up being just under exactly enough pizza, but there was enough other stuff to make up for the few who showed up last.
After the food, we had a little game of stick the S on Superman’s chest. My son won with the closest sticker. His was center mass and directly under the S. My niece would have won as she had it spot on until she peeked and went to the left of the S.
Next up, cake. My son had already tried to take the legos off the cake and eat the frosting twice HAHA. He loved the cake so much that after everyone had gotten a piece, he decided the remaining HALF was his and started to dig in after redecorating it once, of course.

Then we got to the piñata and the presents. The piñata didn’t want to break. I guess the man of steel wasn’t having it. It took the men to rip open the flap on the bottom so all the candy would come out. He is still pretty much intact, although my broom handle is a bit bent.

He received some really nice clothes and pajamas. Some of the kids decided to make cards for Taz themselves. I thought that was cute. He also got a Wiggles coloring book and crayons when his best buddy came over at the end of the party. He got some cash, too.
His Titi Brenna couldn’t come till Sunday and she brought him a 50 pack of Play Doh, with another pack of 3 large Play Doh cans and pieces to make little animals. Really cute! He has been having a ball with that.
The night before, my mom and dad in law had come over with the candy, piñata, and party favors to make sure it was here just in case they ended up coming in too late. I was thankful that they thought to do it. They know I hate last minute stuff.
All in all a great day. Here are the rest of the pictures.
