We always seem to have issues with heat no matter where we live. When we lived in a basement, there was no heat other than our electric heater. When we lived in my mother in law’s house, we would have frozen if it hadn’t been for that heater. Whes moved into our apartment and the heater broke, a space heater was the only thing that stood between us and freezing to death. I am looking for good prices for space heaters so that we can get another back-up. The one we have was the back-up from before. Now we need another one. I am looking for one that is gas because we just went through having no electricity and no heat because of it. I found a nice one on the site for $68 free shipping. I really would like to get it or one like it. What is your experience with heaters in apartments?

Yes that is what I am blogging from right now. I am so excited. It’s TINY…about half the size of my former HP tower. The card reader doesn’t like my xD card, though. Neither does the other card reader for some reason. Ah well at least it likes my camera.

I am in the process of setting my preferences and making everything pretty again. *sigh* I love the smell of a new PC in the evening.

Hmm Interesting. Some of them are pretty obvious, but the last one is a cross over from English to Spanish. I guess I didn’t quite lose all my fluency when I got out of high school haha. Really, I can speak the language rather well if I am not pressured to do so. It’s a great gateway language. Because of Spanish I can understand some French and Italian. Sweet, right?

I am going to break this into part as it is long and annoying and I would rather do that then to pile it all into one post.
Stay tuned for the rest of them posting today HAHA…it gives me a panic attack just trying to put it all into one… *breathe*

First and foremost, I hate leaving the house on Sundays. I especially hate leaving the house to go get gas.

I had been preparing for my day bright and early. I bagged up the 12-gallon bottles to be refilled at ACME. I counted out the money it was going to cost to get them filled. I had my money all ready to go for doing laundry. I even had planned what I was going to buy at the store when I got there. I was progressively feeling worse and worse, but I kept pushing it aside, made myself a cup of coffee, and kept on moving…dizziness and all.

I got to the end of it all and sat down. Mistake! I got so comfortable resting on the couch that I had to fight myself to get back up again. The whole while, I am thinking to myself ” I can get the water tomorrow and just do the laundry today… No. You can’t do that. He’s off today and it’s best to get the water when he can watch the kid and dog, then do laundry tomorrow…”

I finally got myself together to leave my house after much hemming and hawing. I asked husby if he needed anything from the store, and he said all we needed was gas in the car. Okay, so now I have to plan my route to maximize time and distance so I don’t end up running out of gas on the road.

I figure out where I am going, and how I’m getting there, leave the house with the bottles only to find that I left the MONEY on the table. I got back into the house, go the kid to give me the change, and then left FINALLY. I went on my appointed route, only to find myself behind the slowest person ever to move across a few small speed bumps. I see the end of the drive and think YAY I’m golden.

I get around to all the roads that I need to hit, finally get to the gas station, get the a spot at the pump *phew* and ask for a fill up. I only get a half a tank. Want to guess why?
