The quote on my sidebar says that “All paid jobs absorb and degrade the mind”… I do believe that it’s the truth. Have you ever come home from your job and felt like your brain had turned to mush? Like every day ran into the next because all you did was sleep, eat, and work?
I remember that feeling, working in customer service for 8 hours a day. I felt like that most when I worked for a telemarketing service for six months. I would wake up from dreaming about about the job, and be babbling the scripts in my sleep.
This why I am so glad that I no longer work the traditional 9-5 type jobs. I can do as I please, work when I want, quit when I want… it’s great. I’m only speaking on blogging and web design, though…not parenting. That’s a 25/8 job.
