I boarded Coby with Kathy and her crew this past weekend while I was away. He came back with a brand new pronged collar. Now, I don’t necessarily like the thing. It reminds me of a medieval torture device. It is large, shiny, and does the job. I had no behavioral problems with him on his morning walk.
He was cringing yesterday when I came home and he had it on. He didn’t know what to do with the light sensations he was getting from the collar. Hubby and I decided that he doesn’t really need to wear it all day in the house.

I really don’t like collars like that… there are better ways, IMO… that just seems mean to me, there’s got to be something else that works!! But it’s a personal decision– many people have great success and happy puppies using those!
