I love fundraisers like this. Go ahead and check out the Search Kindly non-profit organization. You can search with Google and add to their campaign without taking out your wallet. If you make the site your homepage that’s an automatic $3 donation. You can then vote for which charity you would like the money to go to for the next month. This month they are supporting the Smile Train which caters to children with cleft lips and palates.

They have already raised over $1200 and working to get more. All you need to do is to search like you normally would but with their search engine. They make it easy for users by allowing you to add the engine to your list *if you have Firefox, you know which little box I mean*. I just added them to my search box and am going to try and add as much as I can to the campaign by using their search. Why not start now?

When I worked at Best Buy a while ago I found that they were accessory happy. I hated that every single thing you bought there had a list of things that the sales associates would then try to push and pedal into your cart. I mean, dang, do I really need HDMI cables? Do I really have to have all these twelve to twenty dollar surge protectors? How about all those service plans? UGH. The incentives they paid us to do these things weren’t nearly enough to deal with the aggravation of having to try and talk people into these things. I encourage EVERYONE to research before they buy. Never walk into a store like that without a clear vision of what you NEED and what you don’t need. I can’t tell you how much money you will save because you are educated and prepared.

Ryan is Brenna’s brother so that makes sense. The only one I have an issue with might be apology, as I equate that with a man and I figure they never really apologize. How bad is that? Beyond belief … I was thinking about this on my walk with the dog today actually. Lots of things that happen to me are beyond belief to some people. To my mom who knows me best, these things make sense and I don’t sound like a liar.. but to other people that don’t know me as well as she or my family I sound like a blathering pathological lying idiot. Fun, eh?
