He threw up some wood chips yesterday. So, he has been eating wood. Great! Why? Who knows. He needs to stop.
Too much information to follow
Yesterday he pooped balls of wood. Yes, formed balls. It was gross. Today, he is partially constipated. He keeps eating grass and isn’t getting fully stopped up. I can’t say much for him except STOP EATING WOOD.
We use the wood to keep him in the crate when we leave. We have to put two 2X4s across the door so he doesn’t get out: one inside, one outside. He still tries, which is part of the reason why he has been eating wood. We don’t leave him often, but he just doesn’t get that he cannot be running around the house while we are not here. It’s not so much him not believing we will return. It’s his need to be free to run around like a maniac. At least he hasn’t pooped in my house in the last 2 days. ICK!
