Once upon a time I was a telemarketer. This job only lasted me about 8 months. I didn’t even know I stayed there that long until I had looked at my piddlin’ paystubs. I sold enough there to be liked, but not enough to be loved. I did find some good friends while I was selling accidental Death Insurance. I hated that I would wake up reciting the scripts. You would do the same ones so much that you would have 3 or 4 memorized. I don’t know how anyone can stand to be in that job for long. It was so ridiculous. I couldn’t stand calling people while they were in the process of eating dinner or being with their families on the weekend. Thank God I found a better job and was able to move on.
