ergh. I just found out *after I was so relieved* that we are probably more than likely going to Puerto Rico at the end of next month… Husby’s job told him he is still getting his vacation days that he wanted. I am going to have to really pray and prepare my mind/spirit for this. We are visiting his family who I have never met. I haven’t been practicing my Spanish very much. The kid has a slight aversion to learning it right now. I am at a loss. I am scared.to.death.

I would much rather hit up a Family Vacation Resort and call it a day. It might come out cheaper, too, as they have a savings program that can save you up to 50% normal rates. I just looked up a resort in the area we will be visiting. We can get $116 a night for rooms in a luxury hotel with air conditioning. I hear that they don’t have a/c anywhere but one room in his family’s house down there. It was relatively easy to find what I needed on the site and they do have dates open that we want. I would rather stay in a resort than to suffer from heat stroke in a house.
