Bucket O' Bulletz

My friend Kat pointed me in the direction of a parenting site that reminds me of Digg. It’s all user voted content, but it’s about parents. I am just getting started on Babblz as of today.

I like the layout and the color of the site *it’s purple* I have been over there reading and am loving finding other parents who are on the Internet. I think I will be finding more to say here thanks to the ideas and articles over there. Go see for yourself

I keep trying to ignore all the nice things for sale on the Internet. I have a habit of looking at things and saying “hey I can use that for (fill in the blank)”. Today I happened to be looking at bridesmaid gifts. Now, I am not going to any weddings any time soon, but I was looking at compacts earlier. They have a gorgeous silver one there for $10.95, but then there is that really adorable star shaped jewelry box. It’s 2 dollars cheaper.. but then I can get my name on it for $5 more. ACK! I need to step away from the computer. Sure, they are all wedding favors but what about just getting it because I want it for me? I never did have a bridal shower or anything like that, so it might be nice to get something from a bridal shop just to say I have it. Okay…backing away now, well, right after I check out the shipping costs.

The question of the week for April 2, 2007 is:

Do you do any spring cleaning, or anything to get ready for the warmer weather?

My husband is more of a cleaning freak than I am. I will probably get the urge to do it all in one day and it will be done, with maintenance cleaning every day. We just did a big purge of all the things we don’t need in our apartment anymore. We have another one to go, soon, to finish up the closets. I also redecorate for the spring season, so that everything is fresh and clean. All the scents in my house are fresh or flowery during spring and summer.
