So far, I have a nomination for Best Animal Blogger, Hottest Mommy Blogger, Best Geek Blog, and Best Blog Design. If I have more nominations, I will let you know. I don’t think that I will win, but it would be nice to see how many people decide to vote for me.

I am looking forward to seeing how this whole thing goes down. There are a lot of great bloggers being featured on the site. Lot of my friends are on the roster as well as some pretty well known blogs like Lifehacker and Problogger.net. There are over 20 different categories including Worst Blog of all time. I really hope I don’t get nominated for that category. I think my heart would stop. I wonder which blog will be the best blog of all time. I haven’t been nominated for htat one, either, but my friend Scorpy has. Make sure you vote for her blog, too.

The winners of the blog awards will be announced at the PostieCon conference in June. Too bad I won’t be there to hear them.

SO We finally ran all the way to Mays Landing, got to our appointment 1/2 an hour late, and got our taxes done. Total time it took to get them done and done without an attitude: 20 minutes. It took us an hour and half to get there! I am glad that it is finally over. We overpaid the government a good portion of money, so we are definitely going to Puerto Rico. We should get our cash in about a week. I am so glad that’s over. Now on to planning the dreaded trip.

We have been planning to have a big wedding since we got married 5 years ago. In another 5 years, maybe we will have saved enough for it. Of course, we probably won’t get to have our dream wedding, but I might be talked into one of those st thomas weddings. The downfall is that it wouldn’t be a big wedding because our families wouldn’t be able to make it out there, but it’s so beautiful out there… *sigh* The photos would be heavenly, especially if we did it right and got a professional wedding photographer this time. It’s not a huge island, so a photographer like this one wouldn’t be hard to find. Ah, to dream. I can almost feel the sand beneath my feet.
