Monday night we are having a meeting for one of my online jobs. It’s done through web conferencing. I like the idea of having meetings like that. There is sometimes a webcam featuring our company’s owner, too. It definitely makes the whole ordeal more personable. I worry, though, about what will be said as there are a great number of concerns that the employees have with the management and the business. Here’s hoping that all the questions get answered with concrete answers and not warmed over text book replies.

Thanks to a newer friend of mine named Julie, I get to write about a friend that I have had since 9th grade. Yes, that is nearly 14 years of being friends. We have been through thick and thin, Hell and high water, love, laughter, and heartbreak together. People used to think we were lesbians because of the love we had for each other… ah those high school memories.
We met in choir. It was a showdown of staring, as we both knew that we were the top of our class * I was in 2nd period and she was in 6th*. It was from that moment that we decided whether we would be mortal enemies or best of friends. I am glad that we chose the latter. She is a formidable opponent. We sang together, acted in plays together, traveled together. We were destined to be the best of friends.
Today, she is my son’s godmother. We see each other and talk on the phone frequently. Even though we are about an hour away, she is one friend I know I will never “grow” out of.

The SupahStar this passed week was Deb who is surviving New Jersey. I have written about her before, but I love this woman. She is supposed to be coming to visit for my birthday this Wednesday. Anywho, I want you to know about her versatile blogging skills and the wonder that is Deb. She writes interesting critiques of American Idol on her ever fascinating entertainment blog, Two Dog Zoo. I always enjoy reading about her travel insights on her travel blog. She is a great asset to the blogosphere. Make sure to check her out on all her blogs and let her know what a great gal she really is!
