I finally found my sunglasses!

I meant to tell you. I finally found my sunglasses! They were right where I thought I put them. They aren’t Wiley X sunglasses, but they are adorable. I LOVE THEM. They have little rhinestones on the sides. I am so happy that I have them now. I used them on Memorial Day. If you look at the video, you will see me wearing them.

Monthly movies to strenghten your soul

My husband and I subscribe to a few monthly services that send us books, movies, and other things of that nature without us having to do a whole heap of work to get them. So far we have dealt with mostly CDs in the spiritual genre. I was introduced to another service today that delivers inspirational movies to you through the mail every month, too.

They have a special going right now with a free trial offer for 50 dollars worth of videos free (that’s 10 videos), you pay shipping. You don’t choose the videos every month, but you get 4 that have been preselected for you. All their movies are on DVD, which saves you the trouble of having to request a different format. They also have an incentive drawing every month for a free month of service. What do you need to do to enter? Rate movies on the website and tell them what you think. That’s it.

You can cancel the membership whenever you want, which helps me out. I have a tendency to want to eliminate different programs at different times of our financial lives. It’s good to know that I wouldn’t be obligated to keep the service if I couldn’t afford it any longer.

Cat n Dog Style & Safety

Looking for purses can be daunting. Why? Well I have found some pretty purses that are actually designer cat carriers. I guess that’s what I get for looking more at pictures than a the words on the page. Nevertheless, it did make me look a little further into the site. All of these fanciful fur friendly items are found within the cat boutique. Naturally I took a look in the dog boutique, too.

Recently we have been taking Coby on more car rides. I have to think of his safety, so I am looking at getting a harness for the car as well as some travel friendly items so he can stay hydrated and fed. I like the foldable water and food bowls. They also have a larger sized dog lookout seat that would probably be a good investment, as Coby tends to sway a whole lot when we are driving. It’s unsafe for him to be so loose in the car.

It’s something I have to talk over with the Man. I am sure he will agree with me. It’s easier sometimes to take Coby than to leave him. His comfort and safety is key to successful trips in the car.

Rearranging the house

Yesterday my husband and I took it upon ourselves to rearrange our home. We have been here for over a year, so it’s high time we get organized. Hubby bought some bookshelves, utility shelves, and little things we needed to help us get the job done. We didn’t move too much of our office furniture around, though, as the living room is the ideal place for it.

We got some bookshelves for the Kid, too. I moved his desk around and put the shelves on either side in a way. I still have to move his big toy box to under the window, his videos to a dresser drawer, and one of his cabinets to replace the other brown one that is leaving his room. I have to find a place to put his shoes, too. When we are done, his room will be easier to maintain.

The Millville Airshow 2007

My father came this year. It meant a lot to all of us to have him there. He really enjoyed himself. He was in the airforce at one time and he kept his hat, so I took a few pictures of him with it on in front of a huge carrier plane:

There were some pretty wicked displays of death defying airplane stunts. There were also a good number of planes and old cars to be seen all over the lot. I took more video than pictures this time around. Here is a video of the Blue Angels air display:

I will be uploading more videos to my very own Millville Airshow channel shortly!

Happy Memorial Day

What am I doing for Memorial Day? I am going to my mother’s house. Before that, I get to see my father in the local parade. I am taking the dog and the kid with me today, so it should be interesting.
