WELL what a lovely day I had.
My son and I were headed to my mother’s so that I could get my hair done. On the way we had a few stops to make. That was loads of fun, as there is still a huge detour around the bridge near my house. What they are doing to that bridge, I have no idea. It’s been closed since February. So we had to make a huge U turn of sorts so I could go to the store, get some gas, drop off the dog, all while technically waiting for UPS to let me know when they were going to be at my house. I bought something interesting today while I was out, though I hesitate to say what. Why? well I might tell you in pictures
TOMORROW! HA!
I asked UPS to drop the package tomorrow since they decided to come well after I needed to be gone. I hate that they say they will be there between 1030am and 2pm. Like everyone can wait around that long PFFT.
We finally arrived at my mother’s house around 11am. My mom started my hair and such, then had to go pick up my sister from school, come back and finish my hair. About halfway through, my sister decides to buy tickets to the local airshow for everyone, so I called Husby to ask if he could get those days off. He informs me that my father in law is in the hospital. He might have had a minor heart attack, he said. SO here I am in the middle of getting my hair done and unable to get up to go to the hospital as I would have ended up BALD.
I wait, make a few more calls, and find out it wasn’t a heart attack at all but an episode of PTSD *post traumatic stress disorder*. He gets them every once in a while and they are pretty severe. My husband was there for him, and he is now resting overnight at the hospital.
When I finally am able to get up and leave, the car decides not to start. UGH! It was a lose cable on the battery, thank God. My father was able to fix it up for me, check out other things on the car, and get me going within an hour.
Husby got home not long after we did. The dog *who I picked back up at 7*, is here ans sniffing for food. We ordered out for dinner again since we have been ridiculously tired and not in the mood to cook.
Now we are all lazily laying about the house, getting into the mood for our upcoming adventure to Puerto Rico.
