OH It’s my favorite time of the year:

Strawberry season. MMMM My mother always makes homemade jams. We used to visit the fields every year and pick our own strawberries. I love them alone, with sugar, with chocolate syrup, with jello, with cool whip… SO good. I was looking at a picture of a great way to eat strawberries on www.baychef.com.

The sugar cookie with blueberries and cream looks divine. My mouth is watering. I am going to attempt to make my version of shortcake probably tomorrow so we can have it for dessert tomorrow night. Talk about good.

EWWWW can this guy please get a clue? David “sex” Whatever his name is. I fathom that this year was much better than last year. He gets an A for effort and an F for WTF?

ENOCH! NOOOO but at least Hanna and Jamal get to stay. I think they will be my favorites for a while with this.

I can’t wait till next week. I wish they had shown more of the choreography. It would have been interesting to see what each one did in that round. At least we know that 2 of my favorites get to keep on going!!

Next is The Lot. I think this might be growing on me.

OH MY what a group we have here! I am glad that So You Think You Can Dance can replace my need to watch people humiliate themselves on national television. Really, that’s not it. I love watching people dance WELL. It’s been a dream of my own to dance, but my knees thought otherwise. I live vicariously through those who make it onto the stage

First, the judges. Why the mock Simon? I still don’t get it. Just because it works for ONE show doesn’t mean it works for ALL the shows. “Paula” is more outspoken here, which is good. I guess “Randy” won’t say much tonight. I guess we will find out.

Derrick was too much. He had a lot of energy, used most of it, and sucked a lot. Poor TIffany tried her best. WOW to Jessica.

That first couple totally proved that sexy never left.

Heather ’s story was so inspiring. She is the kind of person you feel bad saying no to. It’s a good thing they didn’t! She made me tear up.

OH GOD NO!!! NOT DERRICK AGAIN!!!

Jenna…big girls can dance better than that! It’s always sad to see a teacher screw up like that. The same thing happened to a singing teacher on American Idol! And teacher…bad form cursing out the camera.

Chasmar I hope your dance is as creative as your hair. Ergh..it was interesting. Ugly and interesting… JUST like your hair.

Melissa. AHHHH!!! Poor Ugly Betty.

Another heartbreaking story: Hanna-Lee. What a terrible thing to have happen to you. Falling and being so critically injured! She didn’t get to go on, which is a shame. At least she was able to come back and be alive to do what she loves.

Earnest. What can I say? He was great. Just fantastic! Jamal. NICE! He is streetalicious.

This couple is soooo sad. Joel and Carmen: please stop.

Ashley killed it. Yes, she is a lot better than her teacher. I love that the teacher is short. It shows that short girls can dance like whoa, too. Inspiration for shorties like me.

Faina I’m gonna faint-a LOL She was a great dance. I loved how she was so on point with every movement. It’s nice that her brother came to help her out.

Squee Jamal the sequel~! LOL!!! Great intro *dies laughing* THEY KILLED IT! He was overly fantastic. I knew he would be. Totally grinning from ear to ear.

Next post : Choreography and that crazy guy kaSex or however you spell it.

There is another big storm brewing today in light of the new release PayPerPost unleashed last night. PayPerPost Direct is a way to get your products or services reviewed on blogs by your favorite bloggers at only a fraction of the markup. For a mere 10% more than the asking price, an advertiser is able to get exposure directly from a blogger of their own choosing.

Bloggers are able to set their own prices. You get a badge much like this one:

PPP Direct

to post on your own blog. Any interested advertiser can click and set up a unique opportunity just for their specified blog.

What do I think about it?

Well, in light of the explanation given on the PayPerPost blog and all the ensuing discussion, I can only say that I am skeptical. I don’t know that I would want to put an advertiser through all the steps it takes to get a review into the PPP system just so that I can take that opp when they can contact me directly with no markup.

As with all things, time will tell. I will be keeping an eye on the system as it develops. So far I have been hearing mediocre reviews. Let’s see what the future has in store.
