I just got back about an hour ago. My mother and I went with my son to see my nephew play guitar. He was great. I have to say that I am impressed with his progress. I gave him a gift card to get hopped up on caffeine one day as a reward for being such a great nephew and for having the guts to show off his talent. The entire show was okay, but my highlight was my nephew. He went second with his act. I only recorded his part, even though there were at least 3 other acts that deserved a standing O. The video should show up shortly:

Father and son time is so precious, especially when the son is still small. Those days of bonding go a long way in their adult lives. I would love to get some baseball tickets for my men to go out and have a good time. It is in my near future plans to surprise them with tickets to a NY Yankees game. They would both be so happy. They probably wouldn’t take any pictures, but at least they would come back with smiles on their faces and a memory to share as the years go by.

Take Me Back Tuesday – Week 126
Take me back to the summer of love…
1967 is the year….
What albums would you be spinning…or did you spin (depending on your age)
Jr Walker and the Allstars, any album they would have out would be one I would listen to.
The Monkees or The Beatles…which would be..or which was your favorite band or do you like them both.
Beatles moreso than Monkees. The Monkees theme song was cute, but their overall musical repertoire was not as impressive as that of The Beatles.
What song do you think sums up the feeling of the Summer Of Love the best?
How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You by Jr Walker
