The Poconos

Well we made it back in one piece. I ended up having to stay in the car for a while and then go lay down later on due to the pain and energy drain. I was happy to see three of my good friends in the family there. It was nice to talk to them.

I got to share with two of them what was going on…only because they KNEW from my demeanor. When my one friend said “aw look at the baby” I kind of didn’t respond, even though I tried to hide my frustration. She said that she kind of imagined that was what happened as everything about me was different and I didn’t really care to be near the babies that were at the party. My other friend was very supportive. She had gone through a miscarriage, which I had not known, and was giving me advice and much needed understanding. Even though I was in excruciating pain and highly uncomfortable for most of the time I was a the party, it was still nice to talk to other women in person about what happened.

I didn’t take as many pictures as I would have liked. I will post them up a bit later.
