no so wordless wednesday

I don’t have a picture for wordless wednesday for you right now. What I do have is an observation:

Don’t ever put your acrylic nails near or in bleach. They turn horribly pink and no matte what you paint your nails with, they will be that same wretched pink by the next day…and every day after that.

UGH!!! I paid enough for them and then I ruin them. I hate pink nails. with.a.passion. So there you have it.

Skin Care goes Green

I am a big believer in the green life. I wish I could live in a solar powered house or something like that and grow my own food. Fortunately, different companies have chosen to go green so it’s not hard for people like me to get green in my lifestyle.

What does it all mean? Well, Emerge Skin Care has decided it’s time to show what their green means. Their environmentally conscious skin care line is changing the face of the industry. One of the things they do to cut down on wasting trees is by doing online campaigning. They even tell you that most of their clients were found through the Internet. Check them out and support their efforts to save the world, one face at a time.

Business, Finances, and Taxes.

It’s getting pretty overwhelming to keep up with my finances and taxes. I wish there was an easy financial consolidation software that would just tell me what I made from where and how much tax I am expected to pay on it. *sigh* I have to download all my records from PayPal to my computer and sort it myself. It’s rather frustrating. I don’t have hours of time to do things like this. Any suggestions? I can’t keep up with my spreadsheets. I always forget!

Spoilage~!

Spoilage as in I am getting spoiled yet more by my fabulous boo aka my husband. I am also spoiling myself a bit.

Yesterday we headed back to the Deptford Mall, as one of the games husby bought the other day didn’t work. We exchanged that and ended up buying more movies. 2 for kid, 1 more for us. Then we headed to the food court for lunch, quickly followed by my entrance into the Piercing Pagoda for some earrings. I am thinking about repiercing my right ear for the 2nd hole, but I am unsure as to when. I got 3 pairs (one hoop with hearts, one plain stud, one sparky stud)  and a $25 off coupon for next month.

After that, we took a walk around and husby ended up buying a chain and panther medallion for himself. While there, I bought him a silver band to replace the gold wedding band he can no longer wear due to a sudden allergic reaction to all gold jewelry.

There is more, but I will tell that tale in another post later. There is a picture to go with that one *teehee*.

Discovery Health: Surviving Motherhood

I love this show so much. They have some great advice. I was watching one that I DVR’d the other day. They were talking about defiant preschoolers. I am having issues with that right now. My son is all about independence from everything, especially authority. Being 4, I guess I can understand that. It doesn’t make it any easier on me, though. Sometimes I just have no patience/energy for it. I guess I should write and see if I can get a few of the experts’ business cards. Some of them really do know what they are talking about. They had some good advice for gaining more control over a controlling preschooler.

The Ultimate Matrix Collection

My husband bought me The Ultimate Matrix Collection. I watched all the movies in a row already, but not the Animatrix. That one takes a lot of brain power to watch. I saw part of it on television one night, and fell into awe. I can’t wait to get a chance to watch all the revisted discs included in the set. Thanks to my loving hunky husby for spoiling me some more!

Losing connection

ARGH … I lost my connection to the internet for 3 days because of a silly oversight. I forgot to update the credit card info on my account. This is a reminder to you all that if you get a brand new card for your accounts, double check EVERY account that you have automatic payments coming from or else you will end up wish issues like I did. Thankfully, I am back online now and releasing a bunch of pent up energy via posts. It was hard being without my one true love for so long *shh don’t tell my husband!*

If I only had a memory

When I write, I feel like a computer that has switched on and finally found its old hard drive intact and ready to boot. It’s actually not as awesome as it sounds. I end up with all kinds of ghostly programs of thought running through my head. I wish I could actually download my brain to a Dell Memory or something like that and then delete the parts I don’t want to remember. Reupload what you have left and there you have the perfect memory of all things you want to remember.
