Where the dolphins and jellyfish play. HA. It’s about to turn into that lovely cold era we like to call “winter”. I hate being hot, but I despise being cold. It’s about time to pack up all the things in your Orlando rental home, and skedaddle. What will you do next? I wish I could go to a warmer climate in the winter. I don’t want to live in hot places year round, though. That just defeats the purpose of living there, to me. Hot in winter, hotter than Hades in summer.. not my style. I want to be comfortable year round. Guess I will have to see how much more the climate changes over the next few years and figure out where would be best to visit.

That got your attention, didn’t it? LOL What is the art of making love? I’m not talking about sex. I’m talking about the little things in a day that make up the collective sense of love. What things does another person say or do that make you feel the well of love brimming in your soul? I love when my husband gives me that perfect flirty glance, thinks of me when he gets himself something to drink and gets me something too. Sometimes it’s just that he rubs my shoulders a bit, or makes it a point to brush me as he walks by. You know, the subtle things. Those are the things that I believe make up the art of love. You paint a picture with your gestures, the way you say things, thoughtful things that encompass love.

We had to renew hubby’s driver’s license Tuesday and decided to go into Salem to do it, instead of our usual place. The Salem DMV is closer to us, anyway. After, I wanted to drive around Salem a bit and see what it has to offer as far as culture and history. We never hang around there. I did see a quaint little Bed and Breakfast, a quilt shop, and some historic houses. There is history woven in between all the newer shops like the gas station, bail bondsman, and coffeehouse. It’s interesting to get to know the cities we drive through on a regular basis.

I am having a time choosing 3 pictures to take to our next interview. I already know the first one I will take, but what of the other 2? This kid does too many cute shots for me not to want to take nearly all of them HAHA. I want to just video tape him and play the video when we get there. Of course, that won’t work, but it’s an idea.

Okay so I know that the snake is my totem and all, but they still eek me out like you wouldn’t believe. There happened to be this one outside about to eat a frog, when my husband stepped out to take the dog for a little stroll. The snake saw the dog, got scared, dropped the frog, and refused to move any further. My husband snapped this shot of it as I screamed for him to close the door so the darn nasty critter wouldn’t come into my house:

I am sick and tired of trying to keep my desk from looking like a pig sty. Seriously, this monitor takes up so much space, everything is crowded. We have been looking at getting an lcd monitor for a long time. I hope that we get one soon. They are pretty cool and the colors come out better on screen than on the regular monitor. It’s hard for me to see different videos and pictures clearly on this one. It’s old. I’m just glad it works as well as it does.

I have checked out a few other places for my son to go for his career. So far, I found one place that does their interviews in Cranbury. We have an appointment there sometime next week, so I am hoping that it is copasthetic and everything works out. The interview is free, but there are conditions as with anything. I won’t find it all out until we get there. It’s an hour and a half away. I would rather know the details BEFORE I go and waste my time. *sigh* At least gas doesn’t cost as much as it used to, even though it’s still not that cheap.

OK so I call back today to find out if the scout from yesterday was interested in a call back for my son. I was also interested in the school thing, as he would do great there. Well, they lied. There was no scout from Disney or Nickelodeon. There was only this audition to be in their school, which my son did get a call back for… It still wouldn’t be a problem except that they want me to come up with $1000 TODAY to put him in the school.

Yeeeeah… aiight. Not happening.

SO I have decided to take it upon myself to find him an AGENT that doesn’t require money up front and only takes their percentage for doing their job. That’s what an agent should do, anyway. They don’t get paid unless you get paid.

Be warned. If anyone ever calls you and says they are from an place that does talent scouting, make sure they are not just a school. Get your own agent or be your own agent. Otherwise, you will end up with a long day full of expectations that boil down to absolutely nothing.
