Guess what I made for dinner!
White rice, chicken strips, and corn on the cob. It was so good and filling. I love to cook things like that. It was healthy and delicious. My only problem is the location of our exhaust fan. It barely takes anything out of the house. I wish so many times that we had one of those nice range hoods so I didn’t have to fill the house with the smell of grease or burning food. I miss that about cooking at my mother’s house.
This weekend was kind of boring. I lazed around for most of it. Hubby was off Friday and we went out for a while, but then he worked the rest of the weekend. I got to be home with the kid and the dog the entire time. Joy. I even laid around on Sunday, when I could have been taking pictures of things. I wasn’t even in the mood to do any photography. I DID take my acrylic nails off. Talk about a hassle and PAINFUL! YEESH about halfway through I thought *why didn’t I just leave these suckers on*, but it was too late. My fingers are extra sore today. My nails are ravaged. I forgot that acrylics did this to my already fragile nails. I won’t be getting them done for a long time. A pedicure, on the other hand, is so not out of the question HAHA.
