Psst, hey it’s me Coby. I just had to tell you a little about what I was up to today. I was watching Mom. She totally forgot that the Kid put the bread over on the couch. I just decided to bide my time till she wasn’t looking and like a flash, have my meal. My chance came. She went outside to throw the garbage away. When she came back in I just whistled and looked around like nothing happened, hoping she wouldn’t look in my cubby. Mom is too smart, sometimes. She went right to my cubby and found the loaf of bread half torn up. Needless to say she was pretty mad about it. I didn’t eat ALL of it, just half of it. She still had enough to make the Kid a sandwich! I am sneaking out now to tell you I have been on punishment since she found me out. I hate being stuck int he cubby
I guess I looked TOO much like I did nothing wrong. I have to work on that next time. I always give myself away.

I know, I know, I know, I know, I know he will be back next Tuesday night. That doesn’t really comfort me. It’s all just a countdown to feeling his presence again.

I have been doing my best to get into better shape over the past few months. I must say that there is no Miracle burn to get it done. It’s hard work through and through. I watch these people on Biggest Loser and I feel for them. I’m not anywhere near where they are, but it could change for me just like it did for them in their lives. I think getting rid of the “extra” shouldn’t just be about weight…it should be about everything in our lives. Get rid of the excess, the unnecessary…become healthy in life not just our eating habits. That’s the key.

This is so true, I had to blog it:
Striving to better, oft we mar what’s well.
William Shakespeare
With all the stuff that has been going down with Google, business, blogging, and such…. you are pretty much danged if you do and danged if you don’t.

Marcus tagged me for this one so I thought I would participate.
1. How do you like your eggs cooked? Any special ingredients?
In an omelet. Ideally with tomatoes, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
2. What’s your favorite cold sandwich, made on two pieces of bread?
Simply turkey and cheese.
3. What is your favorite pie?
Sweet potato.
4. Name one food you refuse to eat and why.
Octopus. EW It sticks to your tongue. Squid does too. GROOOOSSSSS.
5. What’s the name of your favorite restaurant, and is it small or part of a chain?
The Maplewood. I have only been there once, but it was PHENOMENAL. It is part of a small chain.

I hope that something is done about this soon. My simple tags wordpress plugin has decided not to work. Now i have all these lovely [ tag ] thingies all over my posts. I am NOT going back and changing them or taking them. OOOOh no. Not going back through HUNDREDS of posts for that.

This weekend is our sixth anniversary. Saturday we will celebrate together. I am so excited. It has been an arduous journey at times, but this marriage…this man…have been worth it all. We have a beautiful child and a lovely home. We have found our plateau of happiness together. It took us nearly a full 6 years…but we found the place where we mesh and intertwine. I am so happy to have him in my life. I hate using terms that equate him with God or even the gods of history, but the only words I can find to describe him are:
My Golden Adonis.
He has been to me what no man has ever truly been:
Patient
His love for me is like that of the love of God:
Unconditional.
Thank you, Almighty, for fashioning the man who sharpens me.
