So glad I have books to keep me company. I have just added a few to my reading list. I can’t wait to get them in-hand so I can begin the journey through the pages. I have decided against reading any more of “Buttercup’s Baby” (sequel to The Princess Bride). I read a few pages in and it totally didn’t grab me. So that one is out. I am going to try and read these:

  • Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen
  • Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire
  • Lost in the Mirror by Richard A. Moskovitz
  • I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me by Jerold J. Kreisman
  • Pope Joan by Donna Woolfolk Cross
  • Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
  • Crispin by Avi

Avi is a childhood favorite author of mine. Wicked comes highly recommended from a friend. The I Hate You book is the predecessor to Sometimes I act Crazy, which I own and have already read. The others are just books I have an interest in reading for myself. I will probably end up reviewing the I Hate You and Lost in the Mirror books on my mental health blog. The others will more likely go here or my vox blog.

I love classical music. There is such movement within the pieces. You can’t help but try and picture what is happening when you hear the platitudes leap and bounce. One specific piece that brings to mind the winds of fall turning to winter is that of Mozart’s Jupiter #40 & #41. It happens to be a piece that I can hear the fullness of, even in my own mind when it is not playing on an audible device. It’s amazing to imagine the changes. Sometimes I can even see the rushing of water or just the dance a ballerina would be doing during such a jubilant piece. I am listening right now and making a playlist:
