My husband doesn’t like our vacuum. He has been looking at compact models like the Miele vacuum. I wish there was a model specifically for pet hair. We have so much in our carpet…it’s good that the dog and carpet are the same color. If not, I can just imagine how much I would be sitting on the floor picking up every hair by hand. I can’t seem to figure a way to get most of it out of the fibers.

I hate dealing with pet hair. We bought a new vacuum a couple months ago and it’s a beast…works great, but no matter how often I vacuum…a day later, there it is again. Why are my pets not bald?

I have a vacuum made specifically for pet hair, it’s name rhymes with Shmyson Shmanimal. When I actually use it I can get a full tank of fur in just the two main rooms, it leaves NOTHING behind. I also love that it will pick up big chunks of dog food, yet miss the mini micro-machine type toys.

My only complaint is the price. I got it for 200-300 cheaper by getting a factory reconditioned model on Amazon.com, but still paid something like $375. I justified it by taking the cost I normally spend on vacuums and how long this one has lasted and it makes it worth it… so $125-200 per machine, every 6-9 months and this baby paid for itself in 18 months. I have had it for over 2 years now.
