My husband was exposed to asbestos years ago. We always get him checked at the doctor for any sign of Mesothelioma cancer. It’s scary to think that one day it might just show up out of nowhere. When he was younger he worked construction with lots of asbestos shingles and padding. We had a neighbor, once, who had the cancer so bad that he was always on oxygen. He got way more in his lungs than my husband did, but the fact is I saw what could happen to my own husband. My prayer is that we never have to deal with it. Remember, ANY exposure to asbestos needs to be mentioned to your doctor so they can watch you for the same.
