My nephew has a concussion and is out of all sports for 2 weeks.

My mother in law is in the hospital. On top of Rheumatic fever and the other unknown illness, she now has pneumonia.

Today is my friend Cheryl’s funeral…my mom, dad, aunt, and baby sister are there now.

My husband went to my son’s martial arts school last night for a free adult class. I knew when he returned he would have an update on how much we would be paying for them both to go to classes every month. I kept telling my husband not to get attached to the school up north, because as soon as he got into this class he would be in love.

Needless to say, I was right. So now I have to get a picture of the two of them in their guis and fighting stances together. That will be adorable ;)

Congrats to my good friend who is now pregnant. She tried so hard, and now she has got what she has desired. I am praying sticky prayers for you. I just know that you and your baby will be fine.

When will the fascination with the way the Titanic went down cease? I saw that another special about the boat is being televised soon. I am glad they figured out how it happened and why, so people like you and I can get on our caribbean cruises without too much thought into the what ifs of the situation. I just think there is a point when enough is enough. How many times can they tell the story about how the boat hit an iceberg? I have heard it from the scientific perspective, treasure diver’s perspective, religious perspective, movie writer’s perspective… and even survivor’s perspective. I don’t think there is much more than can be said about Titanic.

I am rather baffled at the way this book was put together. I have never seen a book like it. I mean, who writes a book in marker and crayon and just prints it that way? Even with its unorthodoxed appearance, there is much to be said for the practical thinking in Transformation Soup. This author thinks much like I think. The format is much like the format of my personal offline journal. I love books that get inside my head the way this one does. I am only going through the first chapter and I know it’s a worthy read. I will have to let you know what happens to me through the book… I might just make a transformation from the soup that is my life.

I have been living here for 3 years…well it will be in March. I had been looking at real estate in the area, but I’m not really worried about moving yet. This is a good place to live. Half our married lives have been spent in these apartments. I’m actually pretty happy here. I hope we can successfully live here or at least in this area for a few more years before we feel the need to leave. It’s a good place to be, especially now that I am finally connecting with people in the area that are sane.

My son’s favorite word to repeat other than “I’m hungry”. This growth spurt is kicking my tail. I can’t believe how many times a day he says he is hungry. It’s starting to drive me bonkers. I am running out of ideas for what to feed him that don’t include some form of milk. A boy cannot live on cheerios, peanut butter and jelly, and chicken nuggets alone. He is so picky, though, it’s hard.

Now, this whole PLEAAAAAAAAAASE business is also driving me mad. Every time you tell him no he goes on this little tangent of saying it and giving the puppy dog face. I don’t understand it, because in his nearly 5 years of life I have NEVER given in to that face.
