I am coming up on my …
dare I say it…
28th birthday.
I think it’s funny how many women don’t want to talk about their age, as if knowing their true age degrades their beauty. I take a look at myself, even first thing in the morning, and don’t believe that I will be needing any anti-aging remedies any time in the near future. I was dreading 30, but I have to remember that age does not define me as a person. It just signifies that I have had a long life, probably rich with experience.

Oh to be 28 and have skin that looks that good in the morning. Now when I get up I look a little wrinkly around the edges
But I’ve earned every single wrinkle and they really don’t bother me. You will discover, as you get older that age really is great. When I hit 40 I loved it!! I finally knew who I was and was really, really comfortable in my own skin. Age is something to look forward to.
I haven’t yet started dreading telling people my age. Since people usually think I am younger, I love correcting them.
Great picture!
Your robe is so cute and you look fab!
I just turned 30, so don’t worry– it’s really nothing. Enjoy 28! I am really starting to believe that old cliche that you are only as old as you feel. I still feel 21.
Remember, aging is always better than the alternative. You are brave to take morning pictures. I’m a zombie for hours and hours.
My dear, you look lovely … for ANY age. I’ve always thought that age didn’t/would never bother me, but I now generally refer to myself as “mid-fifties” instead of “fifty-five.” The actual number seems to signify something that is much older than I feel.
I, too, am comfortable with my age. So far. Though I do use Oil of Old Lady instead of the stuff I buy for my girls, LOL!
I don’t realize my age until I look in the mirror and see grey hair, and a bulging midriff!!
