I hate having to sit here every single time I want to mess around on the computer. I miss my laptop. I wish I could upgrade my laptop memory and get the plug fixed so it would charge up. Then I would be able to hook up our wireless router thingy and be in business. Sometimes I just want to relax on the couch and type, ya know? Working sitting upright isn’t always conducive to a productive day for me.

I took myself on a little excursion today, dating myself. I got myself all dressed up, bought myself a mocha frapp, then went and got Bread because today is Bread Day! After that, I put myself through the torture that is the post office on Saturday. On the way back, I stopped and got myself a lunch special from the Chinese food store and utilized the wait time to buy some juice from next door. Now I am home, ready to enjoy my relaxing few hours before the Man returns and I have to go into wife mode again. YAY for treating yourself!

will the grownups play? Probably not. The Man has work early. We are really tired. We will probably spend the better part of the evening eating and then sleeping. We are so fun! LOL ! Who would have thought I would be so boring at the age of 28? I never did. I would rather be out on a Friday night, having a good time somewhere. I just don’t have the knack for it anymore. I want to call it a night at around midnight or 1 a.m. as opposed to the nights when I wouldn’t go to bed, and would go back to work an hour after I was done partying. *sigh*

It’s shaping up to be a great bunch going through to Vegas. I hope a lot of them can stay in for the actual competition. My favorite quote of Episode 3 is when Nigel said:

“there’s more pops in my breakfast cereal”

LOL !!! HILARIOUS! I am still watching the episode, so there might be more, but that one made me nearly fall out of my chair.

Sometimes I am not in the mood to figure out my own logo. There are sites online that do easy, custom logo design for low prices. You can try this particular one out. I made this logo design in less than 5 minutes:

Photobucket

Simple, yet effective. There are a large number of graphics and fonts to choose from. You can change the colors of every part of the logo. It’s a great way to get your brand out quickly and professionally without a heaping load of expense.

I just measured the short parts of my hair in the back. From over a month ago, it has grown 1.25 inches bringing me to about 2 inches of unprocessed hair in that area. It’s a huge step, since it was all broken off before. It is quickly closing in on the 5 inches of hair I have in places where it has not broken off. I can wear it out now, and no one notices the length change unless they are in the business of professional hair care.

I have been vigilant about wrapping my hair in some sort of kerchief or head scarf every night as well as keeping my hair from brushing my clothes in the back. The other day, I let it hang down a bit too far and I could hear the strands snapping off as they rubbed against my jacket. I quickly remedied that issue. Soon, I will have to find another hairstyle to keep it off my shirts as it grows down past the nape of my neck.
