Why must I threaten you to get results?

No, I am not talking about my child. I am talking about my landlord. Why do I always have to go to the lengths of calling our lawyer before they will take care of things around here? I told them at least 2 weeks ago that my air conditioner needed HELP. Apparently, they didn’t put the work order in until Thursday. I told them on Monday.

Yesterday, they said they were on their way “right now”. Well, apparently “right now” means “tomorrow and after you get the law on me”. GEEZ! I called the office, and they gave me a song and dance about 20 other people with a/c issues and blah blah blah. I had already called the lawyer and they called me back within the hour. Not 30 minutes after our talk, the guy came to recharge the air conditioner. So I finally have air conditioning, and right before the horrific heatwave predicted for my area. Today it was 81 outside and 78 in here. I am so glad that I have our lawyers on my side. If I didn’t, I would be here hot and ticked off right now. Our lawyers serve Delaware, too, so when we move next year I will still have the same lawyers and be able to defend my family against the negligence of others. Thank you, Jesus!
