I have pretty much finished my husband’s professional fighter website. It’s very perdy. Go check it out!

Goodbye to Coby
Today we give back our beloved Coby. It has been over a year and a half, and though he has made a huge amount of progress, we can no longer keep him here. He really needs a yard that he can be in when people leave the house. He is still not used to being inside when people are not around. It isn’t for lack of trying on our part. He just never “got it”. We, being apartment dwellers, only have so much leeway in putting Coby outside when we leave. With winter fast approaching and our eminent move to another state and another apartment, it isn’t fair for us to make him suffer through our frustration with him not being able to be inside when people leave.
We are unsure if we will try again with another dog that is able to be left in the house when we are gone. Giving up Coby is a hurt that another dog will never be able to heal. I just pray that someone comes along quickly who can give him the yard and attention he so deserves.
This blog will be absorbed back into my main blog @ Bucketobulletz.com within the next week.
I did all I could for you Coby. I wanted to keep you forever. I’m so sorry.

Customize!
For my husband’s fight, I customized his outfit. The one in the picture in the previous post is pre-customization. It looked really good with the patches on it. Next time he is supposed to fight (next month) I want to have a few customized t shirts, that I make myself (of course) with our last name on it. If I could get a patch made up with his copyrighted King Bull symbol, I would. I am going to be working on his website today. It will be at willietorres.com if all goes well. Every fighter needs their own webspace, even if it’s a myspace page.
Run Chickens, RUN!!!
Well after all the preparation and waiting, my husband did NOT get to fight after all. Why? Well everyone ran scared. 3 people were interested, 2 of them backed out sight unseen. The last one saw him and was too scared to fight. Can you believe that? This innocent man couldn’t POSSIBLY look THAT intimidating, right? His reputation for not being submitted or easily put into any type of move couldn’t have proceeded him THAT quickly, right? Now his teacher says we might have to go out of state to find him an opponent. GEEZ!!! Come to find out, the last guy has fought him in class before so he already knew he was doomed to lose. He submitted that guy in like 30 seconds, so I guess the guy didn’t want any more of that. I remember the day that guy came to class. He looked like a novice. I want someone more challenging…a worthy opponent… or he will never be satisfied.

Let’s get it on!
So it’s official. My husband is fighting this Saturday in Smyrna Delaware. It will be his first ever amateur Mixed Martial Arts battle. He does have black belts in other arts, but this is the first time using them all in the big arena. There is a cage, referees, and pricey tickets. I have to video the entire thing. I am scared for the other person. My husband is chomping at the bit to get in there and battle already. I am already in awe of his ability just in training. I can just imagine how much more skilled he will look in the ring.
