Food 4 Thought Friday #1

Breakfast
Are you a morning person or a night person?
Definitely NOT a morning person. I would rather do everything midday to nighttime hours.

Lunch
Do you like to shop? If yes, for what? Alone or with others?

Yes I like to shop, but not all the time. I would rather shop alone so I can get what I want without a hassle. Sometimes shopping with friends is good, too.

Dinner
What is something that really motivates you?
My son. I can’t be a terrible, horrific person if I want him to grow up to be the opposite.

Midnight Snack
What is one thing you look forward to each day?
Bedtime!!!

Recipe for this Week (instead of your recipe for life – what is it for just this week?)
Keep on praying. God will work out everything for the good of those who love Him.

To play along go here

Dare devil

My son, aka the force of nature, was once again playing the “watch what I can do” game today. His friend from next door came over to watch a few movies with us before we had to leave. That put the Boy in full force for showing off. He did his own version of Olympic gymnastics in my living room and down the hallway. He is reason why we don’t have coffee tables! When we do move, I pray we have at least this much room for him to gallop in, otherwise he might go nuts.

Looking at the move

I hate looking for things, finding them, then having to wait to get things done. UGH! The worst is with apartment hunting. I found the perfect apartments for us, but I have to wait a few months to apply. I wish I could just apply now and be ready to move on March first. I wonder if there is a penalty for applying this early? It couldn’t really hurt, right? I mean, that would ensure we get our prime spot for March. Then we wouldn’t be all last minute getting it done, either. This year March crept up on us so fast we forgot that we wanted to move. That will definitely not be the case in 2009.

How many super diets does it take?

I just did my measurements the other day because I was curious as to how my body has been progressing. I know I lost weight and inches because I am back into my 8s.

Here is the low-down:

35.75/35/36 on feb 13 2008

35/31/39 on 8.8.08

How, I ask, do I possibly lose 4 inches on my waist and regain it minus one on my butt? How annoying! It’s like it moved down and decided to stay. I am at a loss. My weight itself is ridiculously off. Either I am 140 or 155. This has got me looking at things like Orovo to get this all under control. What do you think? Or am I just being overcritical. I look pretty good, I think. There is a noticeable change in my appearance. I am probably just being too critical…

Hubby interview update

Alas, he showed up and the manager who does the interviews was not there. How disappointing! But he did get to make a good first impression on the people who were there, so they will likely pass on the info about what he looked like when he came in, his mannerisms, and such to the boss who does the hiring. Keep your prayer hats on, people, the fight isn’t over yet!

Too much mail

Email, anyway. I am so tired of getting emails! UGH! I sign up for some stuff, then I get a heap of other stuff because I didn’t see on the eleventh page at the bottom in the corner of the right hand side that I should check the minute box to opt out of things. I am still getting auto insurance quotes online from something I did months ago. Make it stop! GAH!
