I was fortunate enough to be able to chill with people from my church and another church tonight at Young Adults meeting. We went to the coffee house nearby, had some lovely refreshments, and great talk about purity. I am really into this coffee house setting for things like this. This is my second time going, and I hope to attend the next ones. It’s hard, though, since my husband usually works Friday nights.
We are talking about starting a mom’s group for us to all hang out with or without the kids. There aren’t any mom groups in our area that we know of who are Christian and want to just meet up for some fun times, maybe a little learning to knit/crochet, and give our kids social interaction. I hope that we will be able to start that in early January, after all the holiday hubbub is out of the way. It should be fun!

It has been a tough season to be in business for oneself. I will be blessed to make 1/4 of what I made last year. It’s really hard to try and think of a new home based business that might make money in this economy, too. I have been cooking up ideas, but nothing is panning out so far. I just don’t know what I am going to end up doing. Should I keep on trying or just give it all up for good? I’m not losing money, but I am not really making enough to say it’s part time anymore. It’s just hard all around, I guess.

Ever feel like everything you said just set everyone else off? Ever feel like no matter what you were talking about, someone always caught some type of offense? That’s how I feel about the online community today. I can’t say anything without someone going off on a tangent or finding issue with what I say. It’s annoying! Is this all because of the sensitivity surrounding the political arena? Is is just spilling over into everything else? I have to wonder…

My mother in law should be back on this side of the USA soon. She had a small procedure to remove the mass behind her lung and the liquid inside the lungs. Come to find out, that liquid was blood, not water. She is recovering well.
Grandmom in law’s surgery went well for her heart. They took 2 veins from her legs to put where the ones that were messed up in near her heart were. She, too, is recovering well. I get updates daily on her progress through the recovery process.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and continued love for me and my family.
