Yes I have a list of parties that I purposely avoid ever going to and here are a few:
1. Stripper parties… Uh .. NO. Strippers are NOT the deal.
2. Adult toy parties… I don’t find it advantageous to buy personal paraphernalia in the presence of others.
3. sexy lingerie… see #2
4. Let’s get wasted parties… I don’t like getting wasted. Recovered alcoholics should never attend.
5. AVON parties… I have enough lip gloss tyvm.
I understand that people like to have parties and whatnot, but I am not “that” type of party person. I hate to be a party pooper, but at least I am being honest

Today we had MORE issues with the electric. It’s getting mighty old. It’s been a month and today the electric TOTALLY went out. The electric people say it’s inside the house, the electrician says it’s outside the house. My landlord and I are both mostly clueless about electrician speak. We just want it DONE already. *sigh*

Just when you think it’s time to pack up the snow shovel and salt…just when you think you are safe to pull out the pool toys, the weather changes. One of my friends has snow at this time of year and they aren’t in Greenland! Other people are complaining about the 25 degree temperatures they are seeing during the later part of the day, even before the sun has set. Today we have cold, rainy, overcast weather. I wish spring would make up its mind as to whether or not is has sprung yet. All this barometric tampering is starting to play on my nerves.

Busy all the time! Thursday we had a meeting at my bro in law’s. Friday we were running around to get things done. Today we had a photo shoot and had to get up at the crack of dawn to be there for hours, then off to get our child, then over to drop him off somewhere else, then back home for a minute before we go BACK over to where we came from for a show tonight. Tomorrow we are performing in our church service then we have to go pick up my son from where he is now. After that, I hope we have a few days to recoup…but I know it won’t happen. People are already making plans for us as I type.

It has come to my attention that I NEED to invest in another laptop. The one that I have was blue screening me even when I could get it charged enough to work. I have been taking a look at the differences between regular laptops and netbooks, and I must say that some of those netbooks really give laptops a run for their money. One of them was an Acer that had all the bells and whistles, while not costing nearly as much as a regular sized lappy. It really had me thinking…I am still looking around, waiting for the right deal and the right one to show itself to me. I will know it when I see it for sure!

Eve won the giveaway since she was the only one who entered. I congratulate her on being here for it! Check your email!

We are still trying to go more green. Where we live, we have to pay to get our trash taken. It’s a dollar per bag! Then we have to separate all our recyclables. That’s a lot of fun
They only take them once every two weeks. We accumulate a lot of recyclable waste in that time. Next thing you know, the township will try and tell us we need to switch to led light bulbs, even though we have the special spiral energy savers already. We live in a weird area. I mean, I don’t mind having to recycle since it helps everyone in the environment, but I am a little miffed that I have to pay for every bag of mostly biodegradable waste I throw out per week. *sigh* I guess someone has to pay for it either way.

OMG It’s like drinking coffee but not. I think I will be buying this instead of Frappucinos from now on. It’s crazy how good this is. I usually hate soy milk, but this… THIS is the awesome!
I was also surprised to find out it’s made by a soy sauce company. Joyous. Now I am curious about the green tea flavor.
