Tomorrow officially starts our countdown to being in New York for good…or at least for a long while. I still have not heard what the car insurance rates are like up there, so I am only a little worried. We have one car on the road right now and the other …well… we don’t know what to do with it just yet.

We are also getting our album done this weekend, we hope. We have to have it back by Friday this week, so it would be expeditious of us to do it by the end of Sunday, rush order it Monday, and have it in our hands by Friday. Even if not, we got our cards in the mail today. I wish the font on his cards was bigger, since it didn’t look that small when I got them but it’s done now.

He is working frantically to get the whole apartment finished before we go up there. We have help *thank God* for like the last 2 weeks of the month, so I think that should pretty much sew it up.

So much else going on, but that’s all I care to speak about right now.

Well the Man is in NY trying to do what he can for our apartment. The awesome thing is that our friends have decided to give us a couch and table set for our living room! Thanks to Carol and Suzie for their generosity and love! Things are going well on the apartment front. Our church has decided to gather volunteers to go up and actually help finish the build later on in August, which is AWESOME because the Man and his Godfather have been working pretty much alone this whole time. I just thank God!

I feel so overwhelmed. Now I think I know what the ball feels like every time it hits an end of a ping pong table. Back and forth with bumps and and I am tired. I am so very tired. I mean, dang. I have another website to work on. I am nearly finished the one graphic for the one site, then I have to finish the other graphic for the other site. THEN I have to start this whole new site as well as update umpteen sites. I think I need a secretary LOL! PLUS husby has to go to Bx to fix our apartment for weeks at a time and this is just getting to be a bit much. Soon I know it will all be done and I will be able to breathe for 5 minutes before the next batch of things… and lest I forget to mention it.. my little sister is in labor and we are expecting her to be holding her little boy within a matter of hours.

At church today we had a couple who is involved in a nationwide rv ministry. They go around the US building churches! It’s something like habitat for humanity: church edition LOL My husband and I are very interested. You don’t even have to own an RV to join. You can just show up and help out. If you don’t know what you are doing, they teach you. I think it would be marvelous for us to do as a family. Ministry in the field of manual services is such a great way to instill discipline and servanthood. I can’t wait to see what we can get into with them!

Drip. Drip plop. Drip.

That’s what I hear every time I go into the bathroom. Our tub has a leaky fixture or something. It’s annoying. Thankfully, that room sees the least amount of time I spend in any part of my house. It would be nice to upgrade to Kohler fixtures, but I doubt that we will since we are renting.

What is the deal? This is my second migraine in a week! I know that the stress levels are high, but this is getting to be too much. I have things that have to be done on the computer. If I have a migraine it’s a pretty slim chance for me to get them done. I am sitting here now trying to get as much done as possible before my eyes cross. *sigh*

I often think about why it is that we have life. What is the purpose? What is the reason? We always think we know, but our thought out purpose is not always the one we are destined to walk. We walk around this life, not knowing that we are loose diamonds searching for our perfect setting so that we can shine.
