Bucket O' Bulletz

Thank God for netbooks! I was able to do a lot with mine over the last few days while we were in Jersey. Getting online while driving somewhere is great. I am so glad that the hubs bought me this one. I (heart) it.

Black Friday was something out of a movie. People were lined up at this one store from before six at night to try and get deals even though the store didn’t open till 5 in the morning. There was a line of at least 100 people across the way at another store. They were opening at midnight.

We actually were at the store where people lined up from 6 at night. We had time to go to a different store that no one knew opened at midnight and come back to the original place just as the line was curving around the back side of the building.

Instead of them handing out their tickets and waiting till 5 to open the doors, they actually let people in at 3 and then told them they were locked into the store till 5 and could NOT go shopping AT ALL till 5!!! We had to wait around for 2 hours just to buy one game and a phone! It was like they were herding us into the slaughter house. Excruciating! We were livid!

Instead of trying to save up this year for outer banks vacation rentals or something else extremely extravagant, I decided to get something great for the whole family. The present is mainly for my husband as a token of our appreciation for him, but it is a family gift in that we can all use it. I bought him the xbox 360 pro with 2 games and thanks to a good friend of ours, it is in tip top condition and ready to play. Thank the Lord!

This is only the second time in my life that I have not had a real address. It is starting to really bug me…

Some people on tv should insist on not getting any close-ups. I would be embarrassed if I had the bags under my eyes that some have. I would be demanding some miracle eye cream or SOMETHING. I don’t understand why they have to have extreme close-ups anyway. If you have acne, let it be kept a secret. If you have bags, put on a nice light so that the bags only remotely resemble a shadow. I would be LIVID if I was put on national tv with my face looking all tore up.

I was ready to go on an all out legal rampage because the movie theater was trying to kick us out for having food. Um, hello?! If my son is allergic to all milk products and your employees are always working with milk products *butter, cheese, whatnot*, why in the world would I NOT bring him something that is not contaminated? Anyway, we insisted that we be let in and another guy who had the sense to see he was in for a long ride decided to let us in and not give us a huge problem about it. YAY us!

of my son’s mind, that is. He made up 3 stories in a row last night in succession with elaborate detail at like 2 in the morning. Please tell me how in the world this boy’s imagination can work that well that late? He wove an intricate plot with cut scenes and all. I am scared to see the day he hits Hollywood.
