With the economy at a serious low, we have to wonder what the next step is in life. Careers are turning into menial part time jobs. The crumble has not ceased. I think it’s important for people to decide what their next move is and then go for it.

For instance, going back to school. Colleges are happy to accept a myriad of people from whatever situation, especially when they are trying to better themselves or change careers. There are a number of people who will benefit from business administration degrees. So many companies are in great need of good leadership, especially now. It is possible to earn the degree online from accredited colleges like Northwestern. They get rave reviews from the people who have attended. I say don’t waste your prime opportunity to change your future.

I had no idea that our charitable contributions of time are actually tax deductible till today. Dang it! LOL I will have to keep that in mind for next year’s taxes. Ministry for us right now is all volunteer work, but we are both praying for God to open the doors so we can make it our full time “job”. I have to put that in quotes because I don’t feel ministry is a job, even if it is your source of income. I feel as though it is a calling, a duty, something you cannot just walk away from. The Bible says that we are to be salt and light, that we are called to the world to preach the good news. That, to me, is deeper than any “job”.

I just found another bottle of vitamins as my hubby was straightening out a few things in our room. I had no idea I had another nearly brand new bottle of prenatals. They are good for so much. I wish I could remember to take them every single day. I wonder if I made it a habit like write a blog post, take a vitamin, eat breakfast kind of thing. We were in West Nyack area of New York yesterday. The smell of the pine trees brought me right back home to grandma’s house. I used to adore that smell. She had a little forest next to her house as well as the pine trees that lined her property. Anyway, we headed up that way to go to my sister in law’s baby shower. Such gorgeous country up there! The drive was amazing. I would have believed I was back in Jersey till I saw the gas prices. That brought me right back to NY LOL

I really am excited about what God is doing in our ministry lately. It’s so awesome. God has just flipped on a KVM switch in our focus and is allowing us to see so much clearly now. I love our clarity!! God is just powerful. I can’t even expound on how good He is. Praise Him and amen!

These things crack me up. I have to wonder if their court rooms would be the same if they were not on television. I mean, really. I have been to a few courts to see cases resolved and I have never seen such antics. Sarcastic judges, yes… but not with people being loud and obnoxious while the judge batters them with words till they realize their flaws. It’s interesting to see the difference between real life and “reality court tv”.

I have been taking vitamins on a semi regular basis trying to fortify my hair. I know they have special vitamins for hair, too, but I want to experiment and see what is best for my hair to grow. So far, I have not seen much of a change but then, it’s not been long enough for my hair to grow significantly. I know it has been growing, though, since my scalp has been tender. The only other thing I want to achieve with my hair is to get it shining again. It used to shine like the sun, but now it is a bit dull. Might be the air in NY since I never had this problem in NJ.

Im really tired today. We have a long few days coming up. We are supposed to try and get to NJ before the office we need to go to is closed, but we have not budged yet. I know my hubby is hard at work on the truck right now. WHY did it have to break today? I wish you could get life insurance rates for used cars. We would have gotten a nice policy on the truck so whenever it decided to break or completely croak *God forbid that happens*, we would have the dough to replace it right away instead of having to wait!
